pOn January 20th at around 300 pm New Baltimore Fire District was toned out for a reported fully involved garage fire on Rt. 61. First arriving units pulled up on a working two story 50×30 garage fire. Commandnbspimmediatelynbspcalled a tanker from Coxsackie and a tanker from Coeymans to respond to the scene. Two attack lines were pulled off of the first arriving truck 205 and stopped further advancement of the fire from reaching thenbspwest side of the structure wherenbspmultiple gas cans werenbspstored.nbspThe fire is currently under investigation by the Greene County Fire Investigation Team. During overhaul New Baltimore Fire Fighters turn around and see the house across the driveway with a working chimney fire. New Baltimore Chief quickly calls in the fire as fire fighters run over with ladders and a chimney chain. The chimney fire was knocked out moments after.p
