pNew Baltimore Fire was dispatched to a day time call onnbspMarch 12thnbspfor a fully involved pick-up truck fire at the corner of Washington Ave. and Rt.144. The time of the call resulted in a shortage of man power. On the scene fire fighters pulled hose-lines off ofnbspETA-205 and began attack on the pick-up truck. Although the fire was knocked down considerably it was discovered the fuel line on the truck had been compromised by the fire and it was intensely fueling the fire from underneath. At that moment firefighters revised there attack by utilizing the Foam Pro unit. The foam gave the firefighters the advantage they needed to extinguish the fire. Asst. Chief VanWormer requested DEC to be notified of the gasoline spill.p
